The Last Harvest
Documentary
2024
Overview
A short documentary following three generations of a farming family, capturing the traditions, struggles, and resilience that define their way of life and connection to the land.
The Last Harvest is one of Rolen Studio's most personal projects. Commissioned by the Global Heritage Foundation, we spent three weeks on location during the harvest season, documenting the daily rituals, family dynamics, and deep connection to the land that has defined this family for generations. The result is a 28-minute documentary that has been screened at four international film festivals and moved audiences across the world with its quiet, powerful honesty.
